Hi there,
I am just here to talk about being a transfer student and my college experience. I started at just-turned 18 at SOU. I attended there for a year and my total GPA there was 2.93 and 48 quarter units. I didn't do my best by far but the depression I suffered worsened my sophomore year when I moved home to Cali to attend SRJC. There I got a 2.2, with 10 semester units, with one C, one F (didn't drop the class in time) and one A. I took a semester off, moved back in with my parents and now I am going to the CC there. Right now I know I have 4 As out of my 5 classes (semester and 14 units. I am taking 21 next semester. ah! lol). I'm waiting on the fifth and praying for an A!! It was especially amazing that after failing Alg 2 and getting a C and D in HS in Alg 2, I finally passed it with an A! :D So, I am back on track and doing well. I have a lot to do in my scholastic and personal lives but I plan on getting straight A's in my next 3 semesters prior to my goal: transferring to SDSU (technically my 5th year) as junior status. There I will study ISCOR and study abroad my senior year (and basically graduate abroad which is whatever to me and I can always walk earlier or later or whatever but it isn't a thing for me). :) So I plan on updating my grades, life as a student, ETC. Especially the transfer way of things. So far I have done research, I know the EXACT classes I need to transfer as a junior and to graduate. Like I only have stats and speech left for basic GE courses but I will be at a CC for 3 semesters to get all of my major courses done! (Other than special SDSU ISCOR courses).
So at this stage do tons of research!! I need to find out my back-up colleges but I just have a very good feeling about SDSU currently. :)
