So I can't base all of my dreams on ONLY San Diego state, I have to have back-ups. So far the colleges that offer similar majors to the ISCOR major at sdsu are:
Of course there are international relations majors at ton of colleges so I shall be applying to those as well but in CA the closest majors to ISCOR (which is the only of its kind in CA):
Henley-Putnam University in San José: Intelligence Management, Terrorism and Counterterrorism studies, management of personal protection. They offer master's in all three as well and a doctorate in Strategic Security.
National University in La Jolla: BS in Homeland Security and Emergency Management
They have similar homeland security programs at Maritime, Fresno, Long Beach, LA, Monterey Bay, Sac and San Bernardino (they also have cyber security there too), San José, SF.
*None of these are really like ISCOR. They focus on intelligence and security more which is a disappointment and WHY I really want to get into SDSU!*
Not so far away is also the Justice Institute of British Columbia and colleges in WA and OR.
Colleges I have not glanced at: Rio Honda College, Santa Monica College
I know that at Northridge: Information systems, Languages and Culture, Linguistics and Political Science are offered. A double major in two of these and minors would not be terribly off from ISCOR.
All of these 4 majors are offered at many universities.
Basically, my plan is to apply to a lot of the CSUs and Henley-Putnam. I don't want a homeland security degree. I do not plan on staying in the US nor do I exactly plan on doing homeland security. It could happen but I'd prefer a more wide-ranging degree.
